Challenge
With the QME Hub, Denk Pharma expands its international relationships with Healthcare Professionals by adding a digital touchpoint with independent relevance in their daily workflow. The strategic challenge was to translate a broad product vision into a precise product profile and a focused MVP that addresses core expectations of relevance, evidence, accessibility, and speed right from the initial release.
Solution
The QME Hub focuses on situations where Healthcare Professionals need fast access to relevant professional guidance. The MVP bundles precisely the content and features required for this, while being designed to seamlessly integrate into Denk Pharma's existing HCP communication and evolve in a targeted manner.
From pharmaceutical manufacturer to digital knowledge partner

In the hectic pace of everyday clinical and practice routine, there is no time for lengthy searches. Instead of building a mere content repository, we analyzed concrete use cases—from quickly checking a dosage to staying updated on new clinical studies. The goal: a requirement profile that unconditionally puts maximum evidence transparency, technical depth, and speed at its core.
For a successful global rollout, we translated the entire physician relationship journey—from initial contact to long-term engagement—into clear product features. Prioritization focused on action areas offering the highest value. A seamless registration process protects exclusive content while strengthening sustainable customer loyalty.
Every future feature starts as a testable hypothesis: What tangible value does it bring to a physician's daily routine? This decision-making logic ensures the platform evolves dynamically while keeping effort and return in healthy balance.

Excerpt from the Executive Summary
“Strategy means understanding where Healthcare Professionals need support and what role Denk Pharma can play there. Only then can we decide which features truly make sense.”
Science, staged with trust
Aesthetics meet clinical precision
The design translates scientific excellence into a modern, accessible user interface. A well-thought-out design system, clear visual hierarchies, and multilingual interfaces (EN, FR, ES) integrate seamlessly into Denk Pharma’s existing Corporate Identity (CI). As a result, highly complex medical knowledge becomes effortlessly consumable.
Personalization with smart CRM integration
In the background, a custom-developed interface to the company's internal CRM ensures that valuable data enrichments are seamlessly exchanged between the website and the CRM system. Editors can conveniently manage all front-end users through a dedicated module within the CMS backend.
Modular freedom through Atomic Design
The front-end structure is based on a scalable Atomic Design system. This modular approach allows the editorial team to flexibly create CI-compliant landing pages and forms the foundation for future multisite expansions. Additionally, a product matrix developed in close collaboration with the client enabled the seamless, one-time import of the existing product catalog.

Edge performance for a global community
Lightning-fast, no matter where in the world
Whether in South America, Asia, or Africa—the hub demands top performance everywhere. Since the platform is hosted in Germany, the bunny.net Content Delivery Network (CDN) minimizes global latency, even for data-intensive training video formats from the integrated VIMP platform, ensuring smooth, buffer-free streaming worldwide.
Real-time search without loading times
To ensure doctors find what they need in seconds, the highly dynamic filtering powered by Svelte and TypeScript runs directly in the browser. This enables lightning-fast responses without annoying page reloads. At the same time, the modular search architecture remains flexibly expandable for future filter criteria.
Future-proof architecture with Neos 9
In addition to the excellent editorial experience (inline editing), our focus was on system scalability. The entire project architecture is deeply designed for a multisite setup. This means that additional platforms, country websites, or hubs can easily be integrated into the same CMS instance in the future. Product matrix, content elements, and modules can then be efficiently shared and reused across platforms.
The choice fell on bunny.net—a European, GDPR-compliant edge platform that combines CDN, cloud storage, and video streaming with a transparent pay-as-you-go pricing model to deliver the hub globally with high performance, security, and adherence to the highest data protection standards.
By combining Svelte and TypeScript for the highly dynamic search capabilities, the global hub benefits from an extremely lightweight, type-safe front end: While Svelte ensures minimal load times by dispensing with a virtual DOM—unlike Vue or React—TypeScript guarantees maximum stability and future-proof maintainability for the complex filter logic.
With the new Event Sourced Content Repository (ESCR) in Neos 9, content state is no longer merely stored—every single change is seamlessly recorded as a chronological event. This offers the pharmaceutical client a decisive advantage through full auditability (audit trail) while enabling multiple editors to work smoothly in parallel on large volumes of content.
